Because of caring and competent professionals in healthcare, children are quickly identified and can be evaluated by AEA professionals. Together with families, we help children work towards physical or developmental goals.

If you detect a delay in developmental or physical characteristics of a child that is under your supervision, please contact èßäAV. Iowa's Area Education Agencies are required to provide services to Iowa children and families including:
  • Service Coordination
  • Screenings, Evaluation and Assessments
  • Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
  • Assistive Technology
  • Audiology
  • Family Training/Counseling
  • Health Services
  • Medical evaluations to determine eligibility
  • Nursing
